The Deputy Minister of Justice and Correctional Services, Mr John Jeffery will address the justice sector academia, local and international civil society organisations at the Sexual Offences Indaba hosted by the National Prosecuting Authority on Monday, 28 July 2014. He will deliver the keynote address under the theme “360 Degrees Against Sexual Offences.”
The Indaba is aimed at creating a platform whereby role players may collaborately support the South Africa government in realising the constitutional mandate to protect its people by specifically and holistically responding to the high levels of sexual offences. Amongst the participating role players at the Indaba will be Sonke Gender Justice, Genderlinks, United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) and United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
