Transport Deputy Minister Endorses Women Empowerment in the Transport Sector
The Deputy Minister of Transport, Ms. Dikeledi Magadzi, will deliver a keynote address at the 2019 Transport Education Training Authority (TETA) Women in Transport Empowapreneurship Summit.
The gathering has been organized by TETA.
In her keynote address, Deputy Minister Magadzi will outline the work done by the National Department of Transport in transforming the transport sector and
promoting the empowerment of women, youth and people living with disabilities.
The objective of the 2019 TETA Women Summit is to advocate for the promotion of access to opportunities in the transport sector by women.
This objective is aligned with the transport Sector B-BBEE Codes of the Department, which are intended to promote empowerment and transformation in the transport sector.
