South Africa through the competition authorities (The Competition Commission and Competition Tribunal), will host the 4th BRICS International Competition Conference in Durban on 12 -13 November 2015, at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli Convention Centre (Durban ICC).
The BRICS International Competition Conference takes place every two years and rotates amongst BRICS competition authorities. The first three conferences took place in Russia, China and India respectively.
The theme of this year’s Conference is “Competition and Inclusive Growth”, seeking to explore strategies and means of achieving inclusive economic growth through competition enforcement. Among others, the conference aims to share best practice and experience on competition enforcement within and among BRICS counties.
