The Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (DAFF) in partnership with the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) of the United Nations are geared to host the XIV World Forestry Congress in Durban. The World Forestry Congress will be held for the first time on African soil.
The Congress will be held from 7 to 11 September 2015 at the Albert Luthuli Durban International Convention Centre, under the theme “Forest and People: - Investing in a Sustainable Future.”
Amongst topics that will be discussed during the Media Workshop: Programme of the congress, Media Accreditation and all Media logistics for the World Forestry Congress.
