Sport and Recreation South Africa (SRSA), the national department of sport will be hosting an official send off ceremony for the under 17 South African football, netball and volleyball teams that will be participating in the Confederations of School Sport Association (COSSASA) Games in Swaziland.
South Africa was the overall winner of the 2008 COSSASA ball games. The main aim of the games is to expose young South African athletes to high level competition. The team consists of 121 athletes, managers, coaches and officials. The tournament is open to all Southern African Development Communities (SADC) nations, for example Namibia, Swaziland, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Botswana, Angola, Mauritius, Malawi and Lesotho.
