As part of the activities for the 16 Days of Activism on No Violence against Women and Children campaign, The Gauteng Department of Community Safety will on Tuesday, 4 December 2012, conduct Men’s Indaba with male volunteers in the community policing forums (CPF’s) on issues of gender based violence.
Gauteng Department of Community Safety has dedicated the 2012 to having dialogues with men as they are often the main perpetrators of Gender Based violence. It is expected that the session will open up challenges that attributes to Gender based violence, resulting in the formulation of a programme of action which will influence policy formulation in the fight against the scourge of violence against women and children.
