The Standing Committee on Appropriations today begins its oversight visit to the Eastern Cape province. The visit will end on Thursday.
The committee will engage with the Provincial Department of Health on expenditure in respect to hospitals. After meeting with the department, the committee will conduct oversight to various healthcare centres. It will, among other things, look at the extent to which electrification, water and sanitation services have been delivered.
