Parliament's Portfolio Committee on Communications will this afternoon recommend candidates that will serve on the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) Board.
A total of 31 candidates have been interviewed. The Committee received more than 200 nominations for the Board.
The nominations were invited in July after the dissolution of the 12-member Board. The Board was dissolved after a Parliamentary inquiry found that it could not carry out its duties. Immediately after the dissolution, the Committee appointed an interim Board.
