Small Business partners with Red Ants Security Services for Mandela Day, 18 Jul

Members of the media are invited to come and witness the refurbishing of a family house for a child headed family of three in Katlehong. Ms Nokuthula Qegu is the eldest of the three children without parents who is struggling to provide the basic needs that her siblings aspires to have like all other privileged kids.

“The youngest is seven and you can imagine the kind of support he needs but I am grateful that we have caring people like Mme Elizabeth Thabethe who saw our struggles and pains and made it her responsibility to change our lives for the better. I wish they can do the same for others like us”’ said Nokuthula

Deputy Minister of Small Business Development, Ms Elizabeth Thabethe says that this partnership with the Red Ants demonstrates that through partnerships with the private sector, we can certainly do more.

The Deputy CEO of the Red Ants, Mr Buti Lesiela confirmed that in addition to sponsoring the refurbishment of the house, they will also provide the furniture and will also be giving fresh vegetables to about 400 families in the area.
