Minister Susan Shabangu visits Ikhwezi clinic in Lwandle during Mandela day, 18 Jul

The Minister in the Presidency responsible for Women Susan Shabangu, will be visiting Ikhwezi clinic in Lwandle community at Strand, Cape Town continuing Mandela month activities on Saturday 18th July 2015, Mandela Day.

The clinic was identified because it services the three communities in Strand (Lwandle, Nomzamo and Zola). It was also identified as a legacy project that will always remind the people of Strand that on the 18th of July 2015, the community united to carry on the Madiba’s vision.

The scheduled programme will commence from 9h00 until 16h00. The Minister will visit communities, speak to people and give talk to them about how ordinary South Africans can “take action, inspire change and make everyday a Mandela Day”.

Nelson Mandela’s life has been an inspiration to the world by encouraging everyone to devote 67 minutes of their time, making a small gesture of solidarity with humanity and taking a step towards a global movement for good.
