The Minister of Energy, Ms Dipuo Peters will be hosting an Integrated Energy Planning Colloquium on the 29 and 30 March 2012, at the Gallagher Convention Centre, Midrand, South Africa.
The colloquium seeks to bring policy-makers, industry players and subject-matter experts as well as other key role players together to debate key energy issues and propose mechanisms of how these should be addressed in the Integrated Energy Plan (IEP) that the Department of Energy is developing.
The Minister of Energy will be joined by Minister of Water affairs, Ms Edna Molewa, MP and Minister in the Presidency for National Planning Commission, Mr Trevor Manuel, MP.
The event takes place during the UN declared 2012 - Year of Universal Access to Sustainable Energy and, is organised as follows:
