The Limpopo MEC for Cooperative Governance, Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs (CoGHSTA), Clifford Motsepe together Capricorn District Executive Mayor Lawrence Mapoulo and Executive Mayor of Polokwane Freddy Greaver will officiate at the sod-turning of Makgatho Ville Integrated Human Settlements.
Once complete the project will comprise of 1 305 mixed houses, 9 000 m2 retail center, police station, community hall, two churches, two crèches, and a clinic. Of the 1305 houses, 294 will be BNG (low cost) houses, 327 open market units, 213 gap market housing units and 471 high density housing units. The project is located at Polokwane Extension 86 and 121.
CoGHSTA has signed a development agreement with Kulani Property Development Consortium as the developer for the Makgatho Ville.
