The Department of Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation, in collaboration with the Department of Education, Free State Sport Council (FSSC), Mangaung Metro and South African Sport Association for the Intellectually Impaired (SASA), will be hosting the National Age Groups Championships for the Intellectually Impaired (II) from the 1 October 2012 to the 6 October 2012.
This is a multi-coded sport tournament for the Intellectually Impaired consisting of the following sport codes: Indoor Rowing, Blackball Pool, Hockey, Football and Netball.

All the 9 provinces will participate in the tournament.
The Free State is hosting this prestigious event for the Intellectually Impaired for the first time. SASA will also be having its Branch General Meeting on the 3 October 2012.
