Parliament’s two houses, the National Assembly and the National Council of Provinces will today hold a joint committee chairpersons’ workshop on the Money Bills Amendment Procedures and Related Matters Act.
The act allows Parliament to make adjustments to the national budget. Also as a result of the act, Parliament is busy setting up a budget office that will facilitate its implementation.
Media is invited to join chairpersons at the workshop at 10h30. After the workshop journalists will have an opportunity to interview house chairpersons responsible for committees from the two houses.
