The MEC for the department of Health and Social Development in Limpopo Mme Dikeledi Magadzi, Older Persons Forum, and The Limpopo First Lady Trust together with Bolivia Lodge Partner, cordially invite all members of the media (Journalists) to the Centenary Celebration. World Health Organisation (UN2002) said there is an increase in the number of older persons in developing countries.
“The number of centenarians in Limpopo has increased drastically over the years, because of improved access to Health and Social Development services, like access to primary health services, clean water and shelter,” Magadzi said.
We encourage people to take care of the aged and encoporate them and their interest in social and sporting activities (centenarians) as part of ensuring that they live and healthy life.
During the function, five district choirs will compete for the provincial floating trophy, and there will also be a show case of ballroom dancing by older persons.
