Tomorrow morning (Wednesday) delegates from CeaseFire Chicago will do a full presentation on the CeaseFire Project to government officials from the City of Cape Town and the Provincial Government of the Western Cape (Cape Town Civic Centre) and to the Hanover Park community (Hanover Park Community Centre).
The delegates are in Cape Town this week to facilitate training for the CeaseFire Project, being piloted in Hanover Park and aimed at reducing shootings and killings in gang-plagued neighbourhoods.
