The Eastern Cape Department of Transport in partnership with South African Maritime Safety Association (SAMSA) and Mtha Aviation and South African Airways (SAA) Express respectively.
Is calling on interested parties to an information sharing session to register in the department's database and complete application forms.
Mechanical engineering.
Aim: to redirect students to maritime.
- Those who have qualified with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Those that have done the theory in Mechanical Engineering but are looking for placement
- Those who for any reason dropped out of their Mechanical Engineering studies.
Should register in the department's database.
Aviation learner training programme
- Students with grade 12 and at least a D Higher Grade or Level 5 in Maths
- Medically fit
- Older than 16
- No criminal record
Cadet pilot programme: female specific programme
- Passed Grade 12 with a D Higher Grade or Level 5 in Maths and Science
- Isfemale
- Medically fit
- Genuine passion for aviation
The Transport Department has developed a database where engineering students and graduates can register in order to easily access maritime and aviation career opportunities. All interested should either come to register in the database for maritime or complete application forms as indicated below.
