Cabinet will hold the mid-year Cabinet Lekgotla from 26 to 28 July 2011, at the Presidential Guest House in Pretoria. The purpose of the Lekgotla is to review progress in implementing the Programme of Action, and to identify interventions that will speed up progress.
Some of the key issues that will be discussed include progress on job creation and service delivery.
The Cabinet Lekgotla brings together key decision makers in government including the President, Ministers and Premiers.
Members of the media are advised that there will be a photo opportunity in the morning of the first day of the Lekgotla. The details of the photo opportunity will be communicated in due course.
