Business, government delivers clinic to rural community

Limpopo MEC for Health and Social Development, Mme Dikeledi Magadzi will today officially open a clinic built by Anglo Platinum Mine, Mogalakwena to the community of Ga-Madiba near Mahwelereng (Mokopane) as part of public private partnership to deliver quality healthcare.

The Ga-Madiba Clinic handover ceremony which will also be attended by District and Local Mayors will be followed by a surprise visit to the mother who recently gave birth to quadruplets at Mokopane hospital. MEC Magadzi is expected to shower the proud mother and the children with gifts in a form of food parcels to wish them well.

"We appreciate the building of the clinic by the Mogalakwena Anglo Platinum Mine and this is a clear demonstration that when we work together we will indeed do more. I hope this gesture will serve as a model for other businesses to emulate going forward", Magadzi said.
