The Ministry of Sport and Recreation, will deliver its Budget Vote on Friday, 11 May 2012 at 10h00, Old Assembly in Parliament.
As part of building a case for sport, the Minister of Sport and Recreation, Mr Fikile Mbalula, has lined up a series of activities to showcase the power of sport as a tool for healthy living and longevity and national cohesion.
"We are going to inject the dose for the future. The National Sport Plan is that dose, for longevity and nation building. We invite all South Africans to come to the party as we design the path to success" said Minister Mbalula.
Minister Mbalula further stated that, as part of his participation in the Cape Cycle Tour earlier this year, he will inject some more energy by donating some cycling equipment to the youth of Khayelitsha.
