The Department of Basic Education will today, Wednesday 10 June 2015 host a satellite session on the side-lines of the 7th Annual SA AIDS Conference at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli Convention Centre in Durban.
The Satellite Session under the theme ‘’HIV prevention with a focus on girls: The role of the Department of Basic Education’’ will provide a platform for stakeholders to discuss the implications for Sexual and Reproductive Health Education and Services in schools, emanating from the new DBE Draft Policy on HIV, STIs and TB, which was recently published for public comment.
