The Portfolio Committee on Basic Education will next week, 29 to 31 October 2012 visit KwaZulu-Natal and Northern Cape to monitor the department’s intervention in relation to matric exams integrity and the progress of the current exams.
The Committee is particularly interested in the arrangements made in the Northern Cape for those learners who experienced disruptions and intimidation during the recent protest action.
