Today, Tuesday 11 September 2012 at 15h00, Western Cape Minister of Cultural Affairs and Sport Dr Ivan Meyer, will meet Western Cape SA Paralympic athletes when they arrive at Cape Town International Airport.
Western Cape based SA Paralympics athletes won a total of 14 of the 29 medals which Team South Africa won at the London 2012 Paralympic Games.
Athletes, Dyan Buis won three medals while Arune Liebenberg, Arnu Fourie and Ilse Hayes won two. Fanie Van der Merwe, Ilse Hayes and Arnu Fourie are also the Western Cape gold medallists.
There will be an opportunity for photographs and interviews.
