Information on the arrangements for the requiem mass, funeral and memorial services for the late Judge Fikile Charles Bam has been announced.
Two memorial services will be conducted:
The first service, which is organised by the Anglican Church, will take place at 17h00 today at Christ the King Church in Sophiatown. Growing up, Judge Bam was an Altar Boy in this church under the guidance of Rev Trevor Huddleston.

The second service, which is organised by the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development and the Judiciary, will take place tomorrow at 14h00 at the Walter Sisulu Memorial Hall in Randburg.

The family will be attending this service and members of the community are most welcome to attend.
The funeral service for the late Judge Bam will take place on Tuesday, 27 December 2011 at 09h00 at his home at Goqwana, Tsolo Magisterial District of the Eastern Cape.
The Archbishop of the Anglican Church of Southern Africa, the Most Revered Thabo Makgoba, will conduct the funeral service and will also preside over the requiem mass which will be held at the Umtata Anglican Cathedral on Monday, 26 December 2011 at 19h00.
The Bam family appreciates the messages of condolence and sympathy received from so many friends, colleagues, interested persons and organisations and all the people who have visited the family since Sunday.
The family would also like to thank the various arms of State for their cooperation and support such as the Ministry and Department of Justice, the Judiciary and the Chief Justice who has indicated that he would be attending the funeral on Tuesday at Goqwana.
