The recent event of aflatoxicosis outbreaks in the country resulting from the consumption of aflatoxin contaminated pet food has again highlighted the need for continuous improvements in the production and regulation of pet foods.
The Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries would like to invite pet food manufacturers, distributors, retailers, kennel owners (breeders) and related industry associations for a workshop to be held as follows:
