Acting President Kgalema Motlanthe will tomorrow, Saturday 24 September 2011, deliver a keynote address at the National Heritage Day celebrations in Mpumalanga province.
The celebrations will be held at the Mpumalanga Stadium in Ermelo in the Msukaligwa Local Municipality in the Gert Sibande District Municipality.
The theme for Heritage Month is “Celebrating the Heroes and Heroines of the Liberation Struggle in South Africa”.
The Deputy President will be accompanied by the Acting Premier of Mpumalanga, Madala Masuku, Minister Paul Mashatile of Arts and Culture, Deputy Ministers, Thabang Makwetla of Defence and Military Veterans and Diana Pule of the Presidency responsible for Performance Monitoring and Evaluation.
