The Department of International Relations and Cooperation is planning to mark 25 days to the start of the 17th Conference of the Parties and the 7th Meeting of Parties (COP17/CMP7) with a Tree-planting ceremony scheduled for 3 November 2011 in Peddie, Eastern Cape province.
This event is part of a series of public awareness and outreach programmes by Government in the lead-up to COP17/CMP7.
