After hosting a successful 2009 Confederations Cup, the North West Provincial Government, Royal Bafokeng Administration and the Rustenburg Local Municipality will hold a summit to discuss lessons learned as well as chart a way forward towards 2010.

The Premier of the North West Province Ms Maureen Modiselle, the Chairperson of the 2010 Political Oversight Committee, Ms Grace Pampiri and Executive Council (EXCO) members will be in attendance. Also expected to attend the event are representatives of the organising committee and the national government.
The summit is expected to emerge with tangible deliverables for 2010 which will benefit our people in the form of legacy and economic spin offs envisaged from hosting the tournament such as tourism.
