The Minister of Health Dr Manto Tshabalala-Msimang will launch the National
Consultative Health Forum (NCHF), which will be a platform for all health
stakeholders to interact with each other and the Department of Health.
The forum will bring together more than 250 representatives of health
professionals, researchers, health activists, private health sector and
organised labour for a discussion on key strategic health issues.
These issues include the following:
* tuberculosis (TB), HIV and AIDS
* recruitment and retention of health professionals
* transformation of health sector.
