Gauteng Premier, Mbhazima Shilowa, will on Monday, 11 September 2006 brief
the media on the outcome of the Gauteng Extended Executive Retreat, which is
being attended by Gauteng mayors, municipal managers, Members of the Executive
Council (MECs) and heads of departments.
The province�s leaders are reviewing progress in implementing government�s
programme and deliberating on a range of developmental challenges facing the
Gauteng city region. The retreat will agree on future plans and priorities
including in areas such as economic growth, crime, transport and sustainable
human settlements.
