M Mdladlana to address graduation ceremony of critical and scarce skills

Labour Minister, Membathisi Mdladlana will address the
graduation ceremony in Durban

As part of an effort aimed at addressing the country's economic and poverty
alleviation needs, Labour Minister Membathisi Mdladlana will address the
graduation ceremony of critical and scarce skills students to be held in Durban
tomorrow (Saturday).

The scores of graduating students have enrolled in the fields of Management
College of South Africa (Mancosa) in the fields of Management Studies, Masters
of Business Administration (MBA) and Bachelors of Business Administration
(BBA).

Minister Mdladlana, who will be accompanied by a contingent of
internationally acclaimed academics, will speak about among other issues: The
number of graduates and the fields that could be highlighted as scarce and
critical skills, the impact that Mancosa graduates have in addressing skills
shortages in the country, the role of Mancosa in the economic growth of our
country, the role of private providers and how they fit in skills
development.

Other similar ceremonies are to be held in Namibia and Zambia at dates that
are yet to be announced.
