Deputy Minister Gigaba delivers services to young women

The Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Mr Malusi Gigaba, will visit Mbumbulu’s
Tobi Senior Primary School and surrounding areas to engage young women on
service delivery programme under the theme “From a Dompas to an empowering
ID”.

This is part of the Department of Home Affairs’ programme of celebrating 50
years of women’s struggle to bring about efficient, equitable and qualitative
services to all people of this country.

The Deputy Minister will deliver official documents to learners and
community members and further embark on the new application programme.

A number of provincial and national departments will send their officials to
help eligible community members to apply for other government services such as
social grants.
