The Labour Ministry is to host Lesotho Minister of Labour, Mpeo
Mahase-Moiloa, who will be undertaking a two-day official visit to South Africa
on 19 - 20 January 2006.
During the visit, Minister Mahase-Moiloa will hold talks with Labour
Minister Membathisi Mdladlana before her delegation meets with Labour
Director-General, Doctor Vanguard Mkosana.
Among the issues to be discussed will be the Departmental Strategic Plan,
Social Dialogue and the Dispute Resolution Mechanisms.
Institutions that the Lesotho delegation will be visiting in the Gauteng
province during its stay includes the National Economic Development and Labour
Council (Nedlac) and the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration
(CCMA).
The delegation will also tour one of the provincial Labour offices and
Labour centres to observe their operations.
