Bloemfontein Celtic fans

The MEC for Sport, Arts and Culture, Mr Khotso Sesele, would like to express
his sorrow at the passing on of Bloemfontein Celtics fans who were involved in
a car accident. The accident is reported to have taken place after the match
between Bloemfontein Celtics and Golden Arrows in Welkom on 14 March 2009.
The MEC would like to extend condolences, on behalf of the people of the
Free State, to families and relatives of the deceased Siwelele fans as well as
the multitudes of Masokolara fans.
Because some matches will be played outside the Bloemfontein area due to the
constructions taking place at FIFA designated stadia within the Mangaung Local
Municipality, it is important that fans and followers of Siwelele take the
necessary precaution as they drive to and from their beloved club's
matches.
May the departed souls of the deceased rest in peace and may their loved
ones find peace with what has happened.
