President Kgalema Motlanthe has assented to the National Prosecuting
Authority Amendment Bill, 2008 and the South African Police Service Amendment
Bill, 2008.
After careful consideration of the submissions received on the above Bills,
the President finds that there is no basis for constitutional reservations as
contemplated in section 79(1) of the Constitution of the Republic of South
Africa, 1996.
