Complaints and Compliance Committee hearings

Johannesburg: The Complaints and Compliance Committee (CCC) of the
Independent Communications Authority of South Africa will hold hearings on 24,
25 and 26 October 2007. The CCC panel will hear several complaints including
Telkom's non-compliance with Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL)
regulations and Telkom's billing system for its customers.

The committee will also listen to the Freedom of Expression Institute's
(FXI) complaint against the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC). The
CCC postponed the FXI matter in July to 25 October 2007.

Sandton
