Secondary market commercial sound broadcasting licence
hearings

Johannesburg: The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa
(ICASA) will conduct public hearings for the licensing of new Commercial Sound
Broadcasting Licensees in the secondary markets for Limpopo, North-West and
Mpumalanga provinces. Pursuant to an Invitation to Apply (ITA), published in
Government Gazette No. 27474, Notice 575 of 8 April 2005, on 30 September 2005,
ICASA received 11 applications in response to the ITA. The applications are as
follows:

* Limpopo Province
1. Radio Limpopo Consortium
2. Twelve O’ Twelve Consortium
3. Radio Mapungubwe Consortium
4. Capricorn FM (Pty) Ltd
5. Limpopo FM (Pty) Ltd

* Mpumalanga Province
1. M-Power Radio (Pty) Ltd
2. Mpumalanga Radio Consortium
3. Evening Star (Pty) Ltd

* North-West Province
1. Platinum FM (Pty) Ltd
2. North-West Consortium
3. Yired (Pty) Ltd

ICASA hereby invites interested members of the public, the media and
stakeholders for the hearings which are to be held as follows:
