education matters in KwaZulu-Natal
14 January 2007
On Wednesday, 17 January 2007, school bells will be ringing for the first
time in the new school year at each of our 6 000 schools in KwaZulu-Natal. To
discuss the state of readiness and other important education matters
KwaZulu-Natal Education MEC Ina Cronje and her team of top education officials
will address the media at a conference on 16 January 2007.
Other important issues that will be discussed include the no fee schools,
re-ranking of the schools according to the poverty index and the new school fee
exemption regulations.
It is essential for any media that cover education in KwaZulu-Natal to
attend this session, as it will enable your station or publication to provide
the public with accurate information. Reporters will also have the opportunity
to ask questions and interview the MEC and top management for broadcast
purposes.
