Home Affairs on Zimbabwean visa requirements

The Department of Home Affairs would like to clarify reports indicating that
South Africa has agreed to waive Visa requirements for Zimbabwean
nationals.
The South African government has at no stage during the second session of
the Zimbabwe-South Africa Joint Permanent Commission on Defence and Security,
agreed to waive visa requirements for the Zimbabweans nationals.
The Home Affairs Ministers of South Africa and Zimbabwe will continue to
interact on unresolved issues around the visa requirements, until an agreement
is reached on the matter.
