The Department of Home Affairs is pleased to announce extended hours at
ports of entry for the festive season. The decision to extend operational hours
was taken after consultation with the relevant role players on the South
African side as well as the neighbouring countries concerned.
It is to be noted that these extended hours are for passenger movements only
and not for the clearance of commercial goods.
Hours are to be extended as follows:
Mpumalanga
Lebombo (official hours are 06h00 to 24h00): Extended hours from 30 November
2007 to 15 January 2008 will be 24 hours.
Oshoek (official hours 07h00 to 22h00): Extended hours 21 to 24 December 2007
07h00 to 00h00.
KwaZulu-Natal
