North West MEC for Public Works, Honourable Howard Yawa and executive
managers in his department are to meet with youth in construction at 10h00 on
Tuesday, 20 June 2006 in the MEC's Boardroom, at the Old Parliament Building in
Mmabatho.
The dialogue convened in partnership with the North West Provincial Youth
Commission and Umsobomvu Youth Fund is aimed at evaluating youth involvement
and participation in the construction sector and to highlight opportunities
available for youth in the construction industry and through programmes of the
Department of Public Works.
Youth formations in the construction sector who are interested in being part
of the dialogue are to contact Ms Ntombi Mtyeku on (018) 387 2002 for inclusion
on the guest list and programme.
