Senior certificate examination results 2013

Minister of Basic Education Angie Motshekga will be announcing Matric results on 6 January 2014, but individual results for learners will be available on 7 January 2014.

Candidates will be able to view their results at schools/exam centres or in major newspapers. They will also be able to view their results on the Department of Basic Education website from 7 January 2014 or via the SABC news-on-phone service Newsbreak.

• SMS the word MATRIC to 35935 or SMS your ID number to 35935, and receive detailed results on the day of release via SMS.
• SABC News Break service: 082 152, option 6. Get details on how to register now. An SMS costs R3.00 and calls are charged at standard VAS (value-added service) rates.
