The Deputy Minister of Education, Mr Enver Surty, will be visiting schools
in the Gauteng and North West provinces on 10 and 11 January 2006.
The visits are aimed at determining the readiness of schools for the new
school year and are an expression of the Ministryâs commitment to ensure that
effective teaching commences from the first day of the new school year.
