Communications Authority gathers information on ICT for International Telecommunications Union Information Communications Technologies Indicators

The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (the Authority) hereby notifies all licensees of the release of the 2015 International Telecommunications Union Information Communications Technologies Indicators Long Questionnaire.

The Authority is required to collect ICT indicators information on the South African ICT sector, on behalf of the South African Government, for  submission to the ITU as part of South Africa’s obligation as a member state of the United Nations. The Authority will update its database with the information submitted and may use it for future analysis of the ICT sector in executing its mandate.

The ICT indicators questionnaire and definition of the indicators are available for download on the Authority’s website (www.icasa.org.za).

Please submit the requested information in Excel format to ictindicators@icasa.org.za by no later than 21 August 2015.
