Executive Development Programme graduation, 29 Nov

South African Police Service (SAPS) Executive Development
Programme (EDP): graduation ceremony

27 November 2006

The SAPS's training division hereby cordially invites you to a graduation
ceremony for members of the SAPS senior management.

EDP is a programme aimed at developing management and leadership skills for
senior managers. The African Institute for Mentoring (AIM) is the service
provider for the programme. The EDP was introduced for the first time this year
because of the need for a programme tailor made for senior managers.

A total of 165 learners will graduate; the organisation will benefit from
this by having a pool of knowledgeable and skilled leaders who will give
strategic direction to the organisation.

The Minister for Safety and Security, Mr C Nqakula, the Deputy Minister for
Safety and Security, Ms S Shabangu and other senior Commissioners will be in
attendance.

Media is hereby invited, and interviews and photo-sessions will be granted
on request.
