The Minister of Minerals and Energy, Ms Buyelwa Sonjica in partnership with
Eskom and PetroSA invites the member of the media to attend hand over ceremony
of schools project.
During the Ministerial visits with other government departments, PetroSA and
Eskom last November 2008. The schools identified their needs which include
renovation of ablution facilities and science laboratories, the building of
prefabricated classrooms and computer laboratories.
PetroSA and Eskom pledged their support by providing schools with
laboratories and assist learners with their science studies. On 5 and 6 March
the Minister will officially hand over the schools facilities as mentioned
above contributed by both government department, PetroSA and Eskom. Kwazakhele
High School, Ingqubela Primary School (Port Elizabeth) Lungiso High School,
Humansdorp High School, Pelrus Primary School, Vukani Primary School.
