Gauteng Health MEC, Brian Hlongwa will on Tuesday, 7 April 2009 officially
open the Johan Deo Clinic in Polokong section in Sebokeng.
The need for permanent healthcare delivery in the area was identified in
2001 because services were offered from a mobile clinic which operated on
certain days.
In 2004 the Gauteng Department of Health saw the need to have a new clinic
in Polokong. A temporary structure was then erected and services continued
while the building of the new clinic commenced.
Gauteng Health MEC will lead a health fun walk from 08h00 to 10h00.
