On Thursday, 18 August 2011, Dr Ivan Meyer, Minister of Cultural Affairs and Sport in the Western Cape will be delivering the keynote address at the inauguration of the public library at Klapmuts Primary School (Paarl area).
One-thousand-three-hundred Primary School learners and 500 High School learners will for the first time have access to a public library and computer centre in the community. Through the opening of this new centre, the Klapmuts Primary School hopes to bring about a 'learning community.'
