On Monday, 9 May 2011, Dr Ivan Meyer, Minister of Cultural Affairs and Sport in the Western Cape, will be launching National Archives week at the Western Cape Provincial Archives on Roeland Street.
The programme, which includes guided tours of the building, slide shows and exhibitions, will run every day from Monday, 9 May, to Friday, 13 May, from 08h00 to 15h00. Among the exhibitions is the Nobel Peace Prize Laureates Travelling Exhibition.
Free workshops, which are also offered during National Archives week, will be discussed by Minister Meyer.
