Mdladlana to address labour lawyers on workplace legal injustices

Labour Minister, Membathisi Mdladlana, is to deliver the keynote address at the annual labour law conference in Sandton on Thursday, 12 August 2010.

Mdladlana, who will speak on the theme: "Justice on the Job", is expected to relate his topic to the International Labour Organisation's (ILO) decent work agenda amidst growing unemployment and job insecurity.

The minister could further touch on injustices in the South African legal system particularly as they affect vulnerable workers in the farming sector as well as wholesale and retail.
